SWAY IN: RUSSELL SIMMONS WANTS TELEVISION NETWORK

HipHopDx reports that Russell Simmons is planning on purchasing a TV network. The said network is still yet to be told, but Rush had some opinions on current television programming. Stating that networks who claim to have diversity truly mean segregation. He also stated that these channels should consider giving shows to better suited stars. Rush stated "Instead, there's all these cultures that should be more integrated properly…Instead of giving Paris Hilton a show, for example, you could do one with Amber Rose. You'd be better off. One is hot, the other is not.". As we get more news on the network acquisition we will let you know. But, being that Simmons was one of the founders of the greatest hip hop label to date, we are sure if this goes through this will be a major accomplishment in the hip hop world.
